Threw the bums a dime in your prime, didn?t you?
Do Rem Mim
People call, say beware darl you?re bound to fall,

Do Fa Sol Do Fa Sol
How does it feel? How does it feel?
Do Fa Sol Do Fa Sol
To be on your own A complete unknown,

Do Rem Mim
You gone to the finest school, alright miss lonely
Fa Sol
But you know you only used to get juiced in it.
Do Rem Mim
Nobody?s ever taught you how to live out on the street
        Fa Sol
And now you?re just gonna have to get used to it.
Fa Sol
You said you?d never comprimise,
Fa Sol
with the mystery tramp, but now you realise
Fa Mim Rem Do Fa
That he?s not selling any alibis and
   Mim Rem Do
as you stare into the vacuum of his eyes
Fa Sol
And say do you want to make a deal?
Do Fa Sol Do Fa Sol
How does it feel? How does it feel?
Do Fa Sol Do Fa Sol
To be on your own With no direction home,
Do Fa Sol Do Fa Sol
A complete unknown, Like a rollin? stone.
Do Rem Mim
Oh you never turned around to see the frowns
  Fa
on the jugglers and the clowns
            Sol
When they all did tricks for you.
Do Rem Mim
Never understood that it ain?t no good,
 Fa
you shouldn?t let other people get
     Sol
Your kicks for you.
Fa Sol
You used to ride on a chrome horse with your diplomat
Fa Sol
who carried on his shoulder a Siamese cat.
Fa Mim Rem Do Fa
Ain?t it hard when you discover that,
Mim Rem Do
he really wasn?t where it?s at?
Fa Sol
After he took from you everything, he could steal.
Do Fa Sol Do Fa Sol
How does it feel? How does it feel?
Do Fa Sol Do Fa Sol
To be on your own With no direction home,
Do Fa Sol Do Fa Sol
A complete unknown, Like a rollin? stone.
Do Rem Mim
Princess on a steeple and all the pretty people they?re all
      Fa Sol
Great in thinking that they got it made.
Do Rem Mim
Exchanging all precious gifts, but you better take
    Fa Sol
that Diamond ring You better pawn it babe.
Fa Sol
You used to be so amused,
  Fa Sol
at Napoleon in regs and the language that he used.
Fa Mim Rem Do Fa Mim
Go ahead now, he calls you, you can?t refuse,
Rem Do
when you got nothing you got nothing to lose.
      Fa Sol
You?re invisible now you got no secrets to conceal.
Do Fa Sol Do Fa Sol
How does it feel? How does it feel?
Do Fa Sol Do Fa Sol
To be on your own With no direction home,
Do Fa Sol Do Fa Sol
A complete unknown, Like a rollin? stone.
